"Be YOU!" Teen Mentoring
The goal of this program is to help your teen with the self-discovery process and how to make the connections so he/she is positioned to pursue meaningful work and life experiences. It's like a puzzle! We'll help to piece together strengths, interests, personality and envision a great path forward with ideas of experiences that could be meaningful and authentic for your teen. The experience could be varied -- a leadership project, volunteer work, internship or job.
It's incredibly important for our youth to have as many experiences as possible and build their confidence before they move forward to college and career oriented goals. With plenty of positive encouragement, anything is possible!
This unique program includes getting to know you "walks & talks", self-assessments, inspiration exploration and mind maps based upon community issues of interest. Ideas of growth experiences are identified that celebrate your teen's special talents along with community connections to advance exploration of those opportunities. Communication strategies, coaching and role play help move the idea forward to an actionable plan!
